How about Mike Phelan? About to get the sack at Man Utd as Moyes will take his current no.2 there. Could Phelan step up to the managers job here?

Surely we should be looking at someone who is currently had at least some managerial experience. No way should we be looking at Phelan,Scholes, The Nevilles or Henry! Think we should be considering someone who can also shape the academy with a clear philosophy. Personally would look for the best on offer in Germany - they seem to be getting it right over there. Steal the best coaching methods from germany and Spain and a young forward thinking coach from Germany or Spain (Or GB if there is one available).
