We all know the players we've been linked with (some unrealistic).
but after the signing of mackail-smith surely anything is possible.
does anyone have any thoughts?
oh and please be nice.
i'm getting fed up with grumpy old men on here.

I was nervous that poyet would waste alot of time trying to get lua lua, and miss out on other transfers

But after signing CMS yesterday, who by the way looks like a pornstar with those beautiful blonde locks, it doesn't matter who comes....poyet is officially a sex god

Michael Wood
Lua Lua - loan, with option to sign
Henri Lansbury - loan only
Jonathan Woodgate - pay-per-play

In that order, and all done in the next 10 days. The only sauce I have is Daddys brown sauce.

I'd take Pilkington in a flash.

No idea why this Wood keeps getting touted by some, he has done nothing so far, has potential but isn't he about 20 and only ever played a handful of games......not for me.

Lansbury surely ready for premier but I'd take him if there is any chance at all.

I'd almost given up on this one, to be honest. It's all gone quiet?

I think Bozza said that Lua Lua deal is completely dead now too (via NSC twitter - maybe on here as well but haven't spotted it if so)

pilkington is in advanced talks with a premier league side at the moment

seeing as "anything is possible", i wouldn't be surprised to hear tevez come out and say he wants to join after seeing mackail-smith sign. he'd be closer to his family in argentina here for a start

They are plenty of Spanish people in Brighton so his family could move here and language wouldn't be an issue

Until each player goes somewhere else, I think there is a good chance, as I just can't see the benefit for either player in staying where they currently are. Bloom is a poker player, and a damn fine one, it can't all go very quiet, and then BOOM he plays his winning card.

CMS looked nailed on to Leicester last week, and I'd certainly given up on Calderon last summer.

I think I would like to wait for the club to say that the LuaLua deal is dead as personally I don't believe it. Instinctively when you listen to Poyet talk about him I just think he will still come here one way or another but there is a rumour that Feeney from Bournemouth is the alternative.

We need creative central midfield cover. Woods (released from Chelsea) seems to have gone elsewhere. Garvan is one choice and I think we will get him now Palace have signed Digkacoi but I still think there is a Premier league standard player on the way as well. Who will it be? No idea but would love a young up and coming player like Lansbury (long odds though). Looking at older more experienced players I don't think we could afford the wages for someone like Jenas but maybe someone like Bowyer would be within reach?

We have to get a centre back - Woodgate is being touted and if fit then great but that is a bloody big IF. I keep thinking about the rumoured visit to Liverpool and whether a loan solution might come from there?

Full backs? I think we might go abroad for someone we can develop as cover for Painter and take a chance on Sampayo being good enough if we need to cover Calde - let's face it any reserve full back is not going to get much game time if all goes to plan and elAbd is also an option in an emergency once he is fit.
