It doesn't affect me or my life. I wasn't compareing christianity to islam i was just trying to point out that im sure that most people that call themselves muslim attend the mosque on a weekly basis where as so called christians do not. I would love to be able to call myself a christian but i do not as i dont attend church regular and do not want to be hypicryticle. So i live by the values of Treat everyone how you would like to be treated yourself. or as they are a greek god i guess.

I do not think it is hypocritical to be a christian and not go to church. One of the good things about religion is that you can be religious in your own way and be as devout, or not, as you choose. I see it more as a way of living and leading your life, and for some that involves church attendance.

By the way, I'm not religious but I respect others who are and I can also see that a lot of benefit, community and value can be taken from it.

The bible is a work of fiction and church is attended by idiots Tim. Enjoy your mulled wine/midnight mass.

I wonder if youd have the bollocks to say that about islam you prick.
Only idiot is the one trying to mock people's beliefs just for the sake of it.

Ps just got back from the all saints in Patcham (thought I'd take the kids so they could see what it was all about)

The koran is a work of fiction and mosques are attended by idiots. :moo:

Just think it's sad that people feel the need to belittle something that comforts others especially in times of hardship or grief.
What's the point ? What gain are you getting ?

What sort of Christian are you ffs? One with anger management issues? Do you turn the air blue at All Saints as well or do you save it for the internet? I love the contrasting nature of the post - the first half couldn't be more different from the second.

Over there
Don't shove religion in peoples faces and on the flip side don't mock or belittle other peoples beliefs. You don't have to be religious to treat others with kindness and respect. Especially this time of year.

The wife will be singing in her small choir at her church tomorrow morning at 10am. I will be taking the kids along to watch her.

Not because I am a practising member of her faith but because I respect the decisions she has made and wish to support her. With Crhistingle, Carol Service and a Christmas Day service this does mean most of my attendance is during December but hey it's good for the kids it's good for the wife and in reality it does me no harm.

Where I was christened (Dad was in the choir), and a mate of mine got married in the summer (not that he invited me, the blighter). I shall be on duty as a sidesman as usual at St Margaret's West Hoathly at 10.00 as usual tomorrow. And for the record, yes, I do go most weeks.

Fair play mate, like i said I'm not a big church person but I'd like to think there's something more than we know about although I can understand why people wouldn't believe & I certainly don't live like a god fearing bloke.
Just pisses me off when people c##t people off for having a belief because in my opinion as long as they are not ramming it down people's throats or hurting anyone then there's no need for it

How do you think you got here?
Your wishes will be granted in the morning.
You will loose your milk teeth and have replacements for life if you look after them.
