For us non-attendees this afternoon..could we have an update on the ' wet areas ' inside the ground. I am assuming that the first 8 - 10 rows are vulnerable but wind factor could affect more.
Info from those that were there please.

I'd like to know this too.

According to a tweet I saw earlier, the North Stand (west side) was dry from around Row G: see Twitter - anybody go today who was sitting around N1D (east side) who can give a "wet report?"

Also Bozza said this on Twitter which confirms the East took the main brunt of the wetness today.

I know there are different factors affecting where the rain gets in, mainly the wind and today we had a very strong south-westerly wind (which would confirm why the East was so wet).

Little map below which may help orientate yourself - might come in useful when checking the wind direction to decide whether to take your wet weather gear!

I was in the family stand so North end - half way between Penalty area and half way.
When the wind blew we got wet but at one point the wind died down and despite it pissing down we stayed fairly dry.
Wettest bit was walking round the stadium!

The seats in the dug outs all had nice little puddles in them... which some poor bastard was tasked with mopping up. They need to put little holes in the bottom.

Front row of North Stand was wet on the ground. Second row a little bit wet. Beyond that the floor looked dry. There were raindrops left on the seats for the front six rows from what I could see... but I'd have thought beyond the front couple of rows you'd be unlikely to get seriously wet, judging by the lack of any puddles.

We were in row Z east stand, futhest back u could go. The seat was wet when we got there so presumably fine when there is no wind, otherwise you will probably get wet to some degree.

I was in West Lower G block - 9 rows back and these were wet and all the flooring area. Seats were not very wet as the rain had obviously dripped of, just the top edge. Looking round, I would say there was probably another 7/8 rows behind me that were vulnerable. Im not too bothered by it as the view more than compensated.
It was very sheltered though, no wind whatsoever. My friends in the south stand came out frozen solid, had the wind at them the whole game but it is for the away fans so not sure if we should worry about that.

Had been some sort of leak at the back of the North so the floor where I was was soaked.

Same (obviously) in row r east. However unless the rain was whipped in by wind it was reasonably dry. In defence of the stand, it won't always have to cope with strong wind coupled with rain like today.

Entrace turnstyle for WSU, north end, had large puddles. Also was a leak in WSU concourse area.
