I didn't see it in my area and my family in Sussex watched Meridian and said there was nothing on there either. Maybe the flowers to Two Jags will cause more of a sensation.

On NSC for over two decades...
I've been watching Sky Sports News for about an hour, and there has been no mention of the sit-in. They seem more interested in games getting abandoned in Scotland 'cos of the snow!

Are we really surprised?

All those wankers are worried about is Premiershite

Jimmy Hill's Premiershit ass licking show is on right now-maybe we should bombard him with e-mails asking why they haven't bothered giving coverage to our plight whereas Leeds are getting wall to wall coverage every fcuking day:angry:

Meridian Soccer has just started, they showed TB's goal in the opening sequence with the voice over saying "all teh action from around the region" - no mention of sit in.
Main match (extended highlights) is Southend vs Cambridge.

Sadly, I don't think you can expect much publicity from an organised, peaceful sit-in.

You need to ruffle feathers and/or be imaginative to get publicity.

Still, it was very good for morale I think.

Radio 5 seems to be concentrating on dodgy characters "foreigners" rescuing and investing into football clubs and promising the moon, and not delivering anything or by bad management leaving the clubs in huge debt.

What you rather be in the position of the Albion, or Leeds United, or Dundee (not the United)?

Should not the politicians be doing something about this, because it is of national interest ! Then somebody EMailed the politicans, asking something along the lines, of who was those "dodgy" characters who wasted all that dosh on the Millennium Dome

:lolol:

I don't think the national media was told the players would be involved in the demo. If that's true, then they would just see Wycombe v Brighton as a run-of-the-mill Div 2 match and we have only ourselves to blame.

Having said that, there is no excuse for the News of the World saying Hove Council had rejected Falmer

Tiny wee mention in the News Of The World match report and fcuk in The Sunday Mirror match report. Jordan, on the other hand, has about half a dozen pages worth in both.

Hmmm. Jordan. Brighton. Bit of a big giant 34FF link there. Anybody know how to get Jordan involved in the campaign? A reprise of Katie's legendary Argus appearance in the Sandtex top - but this time in a We Want Falmer tee-shirt (preferably wet!) would give the club more publicity than they could shake a stick at :p

Back of the net! :clap2:

as i have said on another thread, i have asked itv for jordans e-mail address, so as to hopefully get some publicity shots done, with her wearing a falmer tee shirt, doubt i will get it, but it's worth a try

Nothing in Independent on Sunday.

Have seen nothing on the news.

I'm sure it will be a feature early next week in Argus/Meridian but frankly that's not much help. We want national coverage....after such a fantastic effort It's a shame. Johnny 2 Jags is none the wiser?

What do we have to do to make an impact? :nono:

The march across the Humber Bridge sounds more like it....???
