Whilst in a questionable state of mind at a party at a mates house a few months ago I stumbled upon a copy of Closer magazine which had almost the exact same story in, only that time it was about a cat breast feeding. At the time I was confused and disgusted but whenI'd sobered up the next day it was clearly a load of rubbish.

I very briefly worked for Dave the Slug many years ago. He made his money from filth, it's a great business model, with amazing mark ups on products, lots of recycling of material, poor/non-existent quality control BUT few customer returns or formal complaints.

He was also in the industry when there were reasonable barriers to entry (mainly due to sourcing product) and little competition, so made a fortune before the internet and digital distribution revolutionised the industry.

He didn't make much money from Birmingham, in fact if you look at their trading losses over the years it cost him a medium sized fortune.
