... what are you going to do with your Saturdays through the summer?

Barbecues?
Gardening?
Cricket?
Drink beer in a different location?
Think of more outrageous excuses not to go shopping with the better half?

Er...

Sit on here and laugh about some of the ridiculous speculation on here about us signing Messi, Xavi, Rooney et al. Watch the Euros and maybe some of the olympics.

1) Lay patio.
2) Visit A&E for buggered back because of above.
3) Decorate downstairs.
4) Visit A&E for various injuries sustained because of above.
5) Barbecues
6) Visit A&E for burns and food poisoning because of above.
7) Golf, if not too badly injured from all of above.

1.) Hope for a decent summer for a change and then all will follow on from that.
2.) Fingers crossed my number 2 son gets the results he wants for uni!

Here
Follow the cricket
Dining in Patria on hot summer nights
Spend as much time as possible on the beach at El Palmar at the weekend
Get frustrated and elated in equal measure with the transfer rumours and signings
Finish work at 2.30 every day and lounge around our rooftop pool in Gib in the afternoon
Entertain the surprisingly large number of friends who come over and we seem to accumulate in the summer!
Hope the pre-season tour is on the Algarve and pop over to see a couple of games

God, life is tough!
Many BBQs, tapas and wine

Crawley
Cheer Crawley to League 1 this Saturday (not actually going but will cheer inside)

Then

Play Cricket for Staplefield in the Mid Sussex Cricket league 2, anyone want a game at probably the most idyllic cricket venues in the county (pub on 2 corners of the ground, and a cracking batting track) please PM me, always looking for new blood, no experaince needed, just must be up for a bit of a giggle.

and in the middle, 3 weeks in the South of France....roll on the med, the vino and the sun.

Great post - made me chuckle, mainly because it sums up my DIY as well!

In no particular order;

- Watch the Euros.
- Watch the Olympics.
- Have as many bbq's as physically possible
- Spend some time with the girlfriend
- Attempt to find a regular kickabout to join in with as mates are as reliable as Painter's performances
- Find a cricket team willing to let me play, despite no experience or ability
- Bike rides!
