the best player from Plymouth, the best player from Bristol Rovers, the best player from Exeter and the best player from Peterborough. Shame we couldn't keep the best player from Brighton, but we are making a nice collection of the best League 1 players from last year.

Yeah its good to see isnt it shows how far we have come in 2 years really, just shame we couldnt have kept best player in league one last year in Elliott Bennett, but us buying the best in league one shows works as we looked better than the teams we have played so far, also if anyone saw the norwich vs stoke game yesterday Benno and Pilkington looked two of Norwichs best players.
Im sooo pleased we deciding to buy players in league one not cheap players from abroad who mostly dont work out. I still wouldnt mind us to maybe get 2 more players in eg defender and another forward but we looking very good for year ahead.
Plenty of competition for places especially on the wing and in central midfield now, feel a bit sorry for Caskey Forster as not going to get a look in this season.

But Liam Bridcutt is still with us.

Love to see JCF go on season loan to MK Dons, Brentford or Bournmouth if he is not going to get a look in

Agreed. That's what he needs, and probably what we need to be able to see what he can do in regular first team action. It needs to be a move to a team who will play him in the right way. It would be worth dropping to League Two if it had him in the right team, with the right manager. Swindon under Di Canio?

Not the best team, but I always liked the way Exeter play under Tisdale. Him and Gus seem to get on as well.

That's a good shout actually. They won't have Harley in that role for them this season, so maybe we loan them Caskey, rather than Swansea loaning them Harley, and everyone's a winner.

Exeter would be a good shout for Caskey to get some good experience but it's a way away from home for a young lad who doesn't drive yet.
How about Crawley?

Can see Elphick going on loan to a league 1 side once he is fit and maybe Hall going to a BlueSquare team as we will have a plethora of centrebacks available and Cook will presumably drop back to the DS alongside Branco.

Also wondered whether Barker and/or Agdestein might benefit from a loan spell to expand their expoerience?

Agree with the general sentiments of the thread but did we sign the best player from Plymouth? A lot of people would have rated BWP higher than Noone.

We have a large amount of young talent at the club now, which although is good for the future, it means it's hard to keep them all happy.

Noone set up all of BWP's goals for Plymouth. He was a finisher and nothing more. Ask any Plymouth fan and I would suspect they would have been more disappointed at losing Nooney

Yeah Wright phillips used to get a bit of criticism for being lazy also Noone was captain for a while for Plymouth, no doubt Plymouth fans seemed to like him better.
This proven that Noone is playing in championship this year and Wright phillips in league one
