Would the disgusting scenes yesterday put you off going,a good few swerved the game because of such fears,so will we be left with 4,000 fans who are going for trouble with all decent fans staying at home ???

Yes, not doing it again. Overpriced chaos in a shithole and then I felt embarrassed seeing how some of our "fans" were acting.

Rather sit in a nice Amex and watch a beamback, if done again.

The number of f***ing idiots (from both sets of fans) did surprise me yesterday. I have been to many palace games before, but yesterday there seemed to be mindless eejits looking to start shit everywhere even more than usual.

Can't believe people are moaning about trouble, it's a rivalry..

If you think yesterday was bad then you should've seen it back in the 80's.

I think that's the point. No one wants to see it like it was in the 80s again and the new stadium, increased interest and the recent meetings have seen it get worse again. I think a rivalry is a good thing but not when it results in some of the scenes we've seen recently. Frankly watching a grown man with two kids in tow threatening to "skin you, you c*nts" at some palace fans while his kids laugh isn't my idea of a healthy rivalry.

I'd do it again absolutely no worries about that. But I'd be disappointed if we play (and beat them ) in a cup game because

1) that will mean matches moved about again
2) I don't give a shit about the cup this season , I'm sure some other fans will agree , as I'm guessing some of theirs will too.

Yesterday was our chance to beat them in their own back yard and we messed it up , if IF they get promoted they've got that for at least (probably no more) then a season and a half over us.

Fair point. If two sets of fans want to kick shit of each other got no problem with that. But the majority want to go and watch the game, have a bit of banter and either get pissed afterwards or go home. Not be punched for no reason and intimidated on the way back.

Can't understand why people say they don't care about the cup...After yesterdays performance I think we should take the cup very seriously.

Some naive JCLs who thought yesterday would be like tea with the Vicar might stay at home, but anyone who's been around for any length of time will be there and that will include overwhelmingly decent people.

Except for wasting 30 minutes at the end of the game courtesy of the met, and the fact Selhursts a dump (which everyone knows anyway), I cant think of anything I experienced yesterday that would put me off.

I did not see any violence at all. Some minor criminal damage to car wing mirrors was quite pathetic, which is not good for the car owners, and that was it

This sums up my experience as well. After the game I had to get a train back to Streatham Hill and actually had a conversation with a Palace fan who seemed quite nice.
