I think we should just concentrate on winning our games and not worry about the other teams results. If we win our games we will get in the play offs. As long as we give it 100% for the ninety minutes of each game we will be fine……and while we are at it I think we just take one game at a time. On our day we can beat anyone.

Seriously, does anyone remember Barry Lloyd's comments in 1988 when we got promoted with Sunderland? With eight games to go we were in the play offs in the now Div One and most people thought that was the best we would get. Lloyd said he was targeting three points from every single one of the last six games and automatic promotion. I thought he was mental at the time. The next game was away to Notts County who were top I seem to remember. We won that and took maximum points to the end of the season bar a 2-2 draw with Chester. I think we went up on the final day with a 2-1 over Bristol Rovers. The power of positivity. f*** everyone else. We are unbeaten this year and as gus says if we can turn the draws into wins who cares what the others do!

Handily, the single games in hand Brum and Hull have on us are both away from home.

On the other hand, we will almost certainly be out of the play-offs on Saturday unless we somehow take all the points at Blackpool.

If we win our remaining home games and draw our away we will finish in the play off. Most of the top teams are playing each other in the run in.

Easily said than done with 3 night games ahead and our atrocious home record under lights

Don't agree. Say we draw at Blackpool (very possible), 2 of the 3 teams below us would have to win to knock us out of the playoffs.

Hull have Palace, most likely outcome draw, and Brum have Middlesboro. Also Cardiff aren't playing until Sunday.

I reckon we'll still be in playoffs come the end of the weekend, after a hard fought draw with Blackpool.

I hope you're right Mellotron. Although I reckon we can beat them, to be honest.

TBF it only really matters that we are in the play offs when the whistle blows for Full Time on April 28. I've actually got us down to come away from Bloomfield Road with nothing but still confident that we'll make play offs. It's staying congested though and if we can nick a win or draw it'll help a whole load ... looks like GD could play a part somewhere too which is disappointing from our perspective

We should have enough to beat Blackpool considering how poor their recent form has been, but I reckon we will bottle it.

B'Pool are having a wobble, lost 3 of their last 5, only won 2 of their last 7, not won at home for 3 games (getting hammered by the hammers), not kept a clean sheet in 11 league games. I think we can go there with a fair amount of confidence. If Vicente is in the squad, I'm thinking 3 points very possible!

A win on Saturday would be MASSIVE. Just want to see that Number 15 in the starting line up.

Good points. In other words, we're going to lose.

Would rather we used him for the last 30 minutes to exploit tiring legs. He'd be good from the start, but we'd only likely get an hour from him and I think he'd be more effective playing in the last half hour. Keep things tight and then BANG

It's funny how form goes, I was really disappointed with the Doncaster result, however they are now unbeaten in 5 games, drawing with us, Reading, West Ham, and beating Forest away in the process. They maybe toward the bottom, but suddenly our result doesn't look quite so bad. They only play 3 of the top 10 for the rest of the season, and I can see them surviving on recent form.
