...and when I've entered the e-cash topup bit it has someone elses name and address ???

Is it safe to assume that this is the person who had the seat before me? Will it change once I actually use the card for something?

I suppose I should probably just contact the club rather than ask here

Edit: Spoke to ticket office, database/server issue, put cash on card at club shop not online until resolved

No, you've done right, post it here first, and then people can start moaning and blaming Barber

Just phoned the ticket office and apparently there are a few issues with the server and database or something. He said at the moment I can put cash on my card but only at the club shops - I know where I'll be heading before kickoff!

Where is that bit, I can't find it?

Found it via google, but can't see a link on the seagulls home page.

Is it just me or is there always a f*** up with this system? It's bloody painful.

It doesn't seem to be working too well. I've just registered with my new ST card, my old fan number, and despite it being a new seat, I've got someone else's details, just like the OP.

had a look at my records, show me as being 3½ years old, should I apply for a refund on my ST as I'm only a junior? Are 3½ year olds allowed in the north stand?

Same problem for me, got my new card ok (eventually!) and it let me log into my E-Cash top up account and had actually carried over the £9.00 from my old card, impressed! Then wouldn't let me top up the card, kept coming back with 'transaction declined, have you entered your card details correctly ?'. Phoned STH customer services (No.10 in queue, 20min wait!) and spoke to a very polite but not very helpful young guy, the gist of which was that they have been having some problems with the system and he would forward the details of my problem to the company that runs the system. Bollocks to all that, I noticed that some of my account details when I logged in were a bit confused, my surname is now doubled up (e.g. Mr Simon Smith Smith) and my address was as well (apparently I now live in Sompting Sompting!). At this stage of the top up procedure you can alter the details, so I changed it all back to read correctly (name and address) and also noticed half my post code was missing, corrected that and, lo and behold, I was able to top up my card. The only problem is that it comes up with the same mistakes every time I log in as there is no facility to allow you to change your details permanently.
