Leon Knight gets a 3 match ban for having a tiny tantrum and these bastards get away with a pissy little fine?...

Seven players were booked in the First Division game on 2 March

Millwall and Sheffield United have both been fined £8,000 by the Football Association for failing to control their players during a game.

The Blades won 2-1 when the sides met at Bramall Lane on 2 March.

The sides were summoned to an FA hearing on Monday after a mass brawl broke out late on in that game.

Both First Division clubs were also fined a further £60 costs and warned as to their future conduct, according to Millwall's website.

Explain?...

Because you can't ban a club for disrepute. Conversely, if just a single person is causing an upset, they can be targetted directly.

Ironically, if a 15 man brawl ensued, Leon probably wouldnt have got a ban!

To be fair Brighton and Stockport were both fined £5,000 for the mass brawl earlier in the season so it seems fairly consistant to me.
I can only assume that Knight was picked upon because it was him alone involved in the Sheff Wed incident rather than all the players.

Let's hope Leon has learned his lesson and keeps his brawling out on the pitch next time!
Better still, leave it to Ben roberts who can run 30 yards to slap a player, brawl for a bit, and still be back in his goal without a yellow card to receive the subsequent throw in that the ref awards! Go Ben!
