I back the team, i'm as vocal as possible at the Withdean (which must be a plus). But i just can't back someone i think is wrong for the club.

It's not like i'm at the games slagging him off and causing any negativity.

Just on here then?

And how many players read this board? If we have our own posters from the back romm staff then I'm sure word gets around that the fans have no faith in MM. How about you just keep schtum for a while and let the positivity flow within the club?

Too true, so why not get behind the team (of who the manager is the most important member by the way). If he fails, then he will lose his job. What is the point of posioning the atmosphere around the club with negativity at the start of the new season.

I just don't get it.

Didn't help us last season either, dont worry as soon as we lose the f***ing whingers will be back.

I cant wait

Supporting Brighton is a rollercoaster ride for life.

when you get on a rollercoaster you should know that after getting as high as possable (staying up in the championship) then you have to come back down. you dont whinge about that.
considering what this club has and is still going through, i personally think we are doing quite well. a lot of clubs would have folded or at least dropped into the conferance by now. were as we have had 3 seasons in the championship out of the last 4.

So my opinion is only valid (and allowed on NSC) if i agree with you?

Sorry i'm no sheep, if i have an opinion i don't care what other people think.

Who said it wasn't valid? We disagree. Stop feeling persecuted just because someone disagrees with you. This seems to happen a lot with the McGhee-outers, argue the toss with them and they accuse of you suggesting they should be a sheep. I put this down to a steadfast refusal to look at the facts, but there you go - that's my opinion!

Given that almost all of your postings are negative I merely suggest you consider whether you are a Happy or Unhappy Seagull.

Lets all wind our necks in a bit shall we. An opening day win doesn't make McGhee the all-singing all-dancing messiah for the new season. Equally, our relegation last season doesn't make McGhee the complete dunce some people have him down as.

For me, he made things difficult for himself last year with some of his man-management, or lack of. And there were some fairly bizarre selections along the way. And I didn't much care for a lot of his pre-match "we'll be lucky to get anything from this game, so I'm focussing on the Millwall/Sheff Weds/Crewe games instead" type comments, which practically sent us out as a beaten team before a ball had been kicked. I lost a lot of faith in him last year. BUT - he knows his way round this division, he knows the players and he knows the club. If he can keep us mid-table, maybe a flirt with the Playoffs, then he'll have done blolody well. If we're up shit creek after 15-20 games though, then I'm afraid its adios amigos.

Today changes nothing.

Sorry, i forgot to quote Woodchip who said i should just keep quiet if i wasn't gonna be positive about MM.

I don't feel persecuted at all, but it does seem unless you think MM is a god you're made out to be foolish and mad. Football is about opinions, and that is what counts. Obviously there are people on here who can only come back with childish comments, but i have nothing against people who have a proper view on things.

Every post of mine about MM is negative yes, but as i said before, my negativity about him and the team are seperate.

No, but it will pull the team down, if you slag off the gaffer.

Presume that is aimed at me, I think I was trying to have a propery discussion and it was you who started it. Never mind.

It won't effect the team at all.
Of course not. If you're at work and here someone slagging of your manager, saying he's inept. And you get this every day, then you'll start to lose confidence in your boss won't you.

You think the same doesn't happy in football teams??

Not just aimed at you no. But was it also part of your proper discussion when you told me to f*** off, or when you said i could only have been 12 for having a different opinion?

Come back when you can discuss your case and not talk rubbish.
