Wow what a great put down

I've been supporting the Albion for about 26yrs now. Sorry if i want the best for my team, and that i don't always agree with you

Then I would imagine you would have a realistic idea of what we should be achieving. Clearly not.

Keeping us up was considered a result. Didn't take him long to turn us into a crap team again though did it?

Good win today though, eh? I'm sure you'll join me in congratulating MM and the boys!

:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Let's hope we can do the same on Tuesday! :)

No i won't, i absolutely hate seeing the Albion lose.

My hatred of McGhee never gets in the way of my love for Brighton.

And you just said we were shit. After winning our first game of the season.

It must be real LOVE.

It was a great win everything considered. I will drink a toast to the team that got us the points, as for the manager... well a drink for the team will do.

I have been watching the Albion since 1974. Some years are great and some are shit, but it has rarely been dull.

Since 1983 we have been screwed financially. Good players have been sold for peanuts on occasions (Saunders, Eric Young, Steve Foster, John Byrne) to raise cash/get them off the payroll.

We were stiffed by Greg Stanley (a far bigger enemy than Archer IMO, as he claimed to be a supporter), and have fought against the odds to have success since 2001 through a combination of good management, a committed board, amazing away support and Bobby Z.

However without a good income stream that counts for nothing in the long run as players want to maximise their income.

He's shit on every team he's ever managed. The only reason he hasn't done it to us, is because no one else wants him.

Great to get off to a winning start but as Harty would say "One swallow does'nt make a summer"

Maybe after relegation last season and a summer of yet more frustration we should just get behind the team and see what happens. It's gonna take 10 games or so before we can start to guage the sort of season we are gonna have so maybe it's time to put the McGhee in/out debate on hold till then.

At least today's result has lifted spirits a bit & a Win on Tuesday will help banish the memories of the last game at the withdean.

Supporting Brighton is a rollercoaster ride for life.

Too true, so why not get behind the team (of who the manager is the most important member by the way). If he fails, then he will lose his job. What is the point of posioning the atmosphere around the club with negativity at the start of the new season.

I just don't get it.

I back the team, i'm as vocal as possible at the Withdean (which must be a plus). But i just can't back someone i think is wrong for the club.

It's not like i'm at the games slagging him off and causing any negativity.
