...quite possibly, they are saying the heaviest snow will be around Birmingham and the Midlands, I am only 40 miles south of there...now where did I leave that sledge?

let me reiterate again

THERE WILL BE NO SNOW IN THE BRIGHTON AREA OVER THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

There will be rain/sleet from early morning to midday and maximum temps tomorrow of 6C 43F , normal for time of year. There will be snow from 15 miles inland and bad around home counties and southern midlands but none in Brighton.

5.30 pm - Brighton 7C 45F - mild for time of year, clear, dry

This really is quite ridiculous
