There are 1307674368000 combinations of how to complete a 147. As in 1307674368000 different orders to pot 15 reds in.

I think in comparison there is little choice...

but does that take into account every possible position for the reds to be in on the table, they could be in a bunch, against cushions or at different ends of the table, so there are far more vairables to account for, making it harder to complete.

Also Snooker players have to judge speed, bounce off cushions / other balls, use of spin etc....

therefore harder than a 9 darter

No question in my book, 147 is much much harder.

in practice snooker players make them fairly often...

ding junhui claims to have made over 100 147s in practice and hes only 22 or something...

but i still say 147 is harder in my opinion

i think 147 is definitly harder, the you tube vid shows Phil Taylor making a 9 darter in a warm up for a match a few years ago,
