Was fooled into thinking that it was a serious thriller. Perhaps the title should have given it away. But With Samuel L Jackson in it I thought it would be a good jumpy thriller.

I was wrong!!

Completely daft and reminiscent of Airplane without the deliberate tongue-in cheek plot and screenplay.

That said it was Ok from a comedic point of view.

Creative free spirits, a bit like Steven Spielberg, refuse to be confined to one single film thread. They follow their art wherever it takes them. Or something.

theres Snakes on a Train aswell which is a quite funny piss take.

Snakes on a Plane was a piss-take to start with. I was a little disappointed, though that might of been because I'd had a couple of pints and was bursting for a piss the whole film.

No, that would ruin it. I want to make a pleasant film where everyone gets along swimmingly and generally has a nice time.

No one will watch it unless you have a scene where there is much 'rumpy pumpy' going on.

Let me know if you do not know what 'Rumpy Pumpy' is.

Is that the same as 'Slap and Tickle' ?

I intend to only have mild 'Slap and Tickle' references in the film. I don't think the world is ready for the sight of Phil Collins laying naked on a bed of roses furiously banging one out over a picture of his nan.

You mean the same 'world' that has accepted Jade Goody's mum on CBB?

whats it about?

It is a thought provoking insight into the sub-culture of the amerindian tribes in Patagonia and their insurgent uprising against the oppresive miltary regime in Peru circa 1926.

The sub-plot is one of a tragic love affair between a school mistress and a warrior from one of the tribes.

The screenplay is quite exquisitely apt and translates well into the modern genre of pseudo political satire. The film is shot beautifully in the scrub by the lower outcrops of the Andes and also the backstreets of Lima.

Does that help?

They don't.

Have you ever heard of Symbolism in Post revilutionary cinematic styles much Like the work of Franz Kafka and Luis Bunuel?

The Snakes symbolise the need to escape Polictical extremes and the Planes represent vehicles that fly in the sky!
