The advert I'm thinking of.... there's a bloke in a blue smarties suit, the others run away because he's blue. They throw out a man in a yellow suit (the black guy you're refering to) to check out the blue smartie, and then finds out he's free from artificial colours - the advert should be pulled up for lying not for being racist!

Smarties are almost certainly challenging that notion tongue-in-cheek.
