Zabbar- Malta
Last night had a Pizza delivered to our Apartment in Zabbar (Malta) The delivery guy couldn't find our flat so I went to the street to find him. When he arrived, he saw my car with lot's of Seagulls stickers and asked is that yours? I said yes and he said I support Swindon!! Hardly any Maltese know anything about Football outside of Prem league or serie A but he really knew his stuff.
I felt sorry for him so gave him a good tip.

Any one else found Seagulls fans from foreign fields?

i once saw a man wearing a leyton orient hat on the seafront, amazing i will never forget that moment!

Always see an old chap wandering around one of the parks in Southampton wearing what's either a Southend or Tranmere scarf, and next year I'm living with two Wycombe fans

Oh that's really funny. You are either wasted on here or just wasted.

Had two good holidays not far from you mate....Qawra palace hotel in Bugiba (sp?) Always found the locals very friendly and football mad. Prem football is free i do believe and every game is shown. There was a couple of hotel staff who supported teams outside the prem and we had a good bit of banter with them

Malta Seagull do they still play 2 games after each other on both a Saturday and Sunday at the national stadium. When I last went to Malta some years ago they did this and Mark Lawrenson and Paul Marriner flew out on Friday evening played on Saturday and or Sunday and flew home Sunday night.

Yes they do most weeks. It's really strange to see the Club's supporters swapping over when their game finishes or is about to start although some neutrals do stay for both games.

When living in Reading many years ago I spotted an old guy sporting an Albion bobble hat - went up to him and said 'great to see another Brighton fan around here' to which he replied 'oh, the hat, I got it from a jumble sale!'

I was on holiday in Los Gigantes, Tenerife when Reading dropped the points that made us champions back in 2002.

I think my kids and ex must have been down on the beach, as I headed off towards the harbour / beach area to let them know. On the way, I passed a young child wearing an Albion shirt. I just said to him "Reading drew" and he burst into a spontaneous cheer and ran off to tell his dad!

At a match here for our local (Thunder Bay Chill SC) last summer. Walking in all the sudden a guy walks around the cornor of the bleachers and had the Villa Home shirt on from last season. I had mine on as well which was met by a massive "Up the VIlla". We chatted for a bit and he has lived here for many years, originally a Brummie. Also got stopped in downtown Toronto by an older couple who were from Birmingham and whos daughter is a ST there. They thought it was neat to see someone born and raised here to support the Villa. Beat Pompey 2-1 that day!

I was once wondering around Colditz castle before it was all re done. It was only me and my family there, all the doors were open, no one was about so I had a good walk all around, it was fantastic.

Then as I walked into the main courtyard I was another man approach wearing a BHAFC hat! "Didn't make the game then?" he quipped!

Vankleek Hill, actually....
On Saturday in a pub having a few beers with a group of British Expats (approx. 40 people in attendance) I got talking to a local who had wandered in with his Newfie mate. He commented on all the the British accents and I had to explain to him about the group. He then said he should join as he was born in Brighton. Well, that was that and we ended up chatting for an hour about the Seagulls and Brighton in general. Cracking night.

Also walking around Toronto doing some shopping, I met a elder fellow wearing the yellow and blue away shirt so ended up chatting with him as well.
