We are now up to date.

The last series.....the slow horses did do exceedingly well....and the two Top Spooks are extraordinarily venal and corrupt.

Not sure how that can top/pull back from that....we shall see

Last episode of the series last night. Tremendous.

@Madafwo just mentioned a glitch in the Matrix, which of course made me think of this:

Hugo's finest moments surely as Douglas Jardine in Bodyline or the posh solicitor in Bangkok Hilton.

Both good fun.

You do realise it’s just entertainment, it doesn’t have to be realistic 😉
Very true but I do sort of understand the video game comment. I was enjoying season 2 of Gangs of London when towards the end there was a truly ridiculous extended fight scene between two protagonists that really spoiled finale.

I’ve still got the last episode to watch.
The very high standard has been maintained, if not exceeded in this series.

It really is the highlight of my television viewing now.

Can’t wait for season 5.

For once a TV adaptation as good as the books … and the books are very good.

I was left quite unimpressed by this latest series. Seems I'm swimming against the tide, but it just seemed to lack a real pay off in the final episode. But I think the main criticism is that it lacked Jackson Lamb! Very little screen time compared with previous series.

I loved S4, don't think it was my favourite series but it's right up there.

Agreed it needed more Lamb.

Roddy Ho with quote of the season at the start of the final episode though 😂😂

What I will say, is that this confirms that the production quality and standard on Apple TV is overall miles above any other streaming service. Very much quality over quantity.

I enjoyed the series, but felt the same as you with the ending.
It felt like a 12 episode series split into two instalments.

However I assume the series are following individual books, so that probably is down to that.

What device do you have Netflix on? Should be able to get Apple TV the same way
Netflix on my phone, which I cast to the telly by Chromecast.
