Alex Crook this morning believing Roberto was probably a candidate for Liverpool job but his press conferences recently having a dig at our board put Liverpool off! Be quite ironic that Roberto spouting off could have cost him an interview for it?
Increasingly I think we should probably get rid of during the summer. Clearly doesn’t want to be here and we’re not f ucking Manpower or Office Angels. Rather we appoint someone clearly not wanting to jump ship at first chance. Be different if 2nd or 3rd, but he’s been found out with his come and get me (and nobody did) so we should perhaps consider someone whose mind will be on the job in hand rather than where they believe they should be?

With only a few week left in the transfer window, it seems Liverpool have signed...nobody. Yet.

Are they not backing Slot? Or are they just convinced they don't need any new recruits?

Not sure they require a lot. If they make a couple of moves late in the window they’re pretty set.

I think they just haven't got anything over the line yet - didn't they have a £50m+ bid for Zubimendi accepted, but he turned them down?

I'd be surprised if they didn't sign a couple before the window SLAMS shut.

Heavily rumoured to be buying a goalkeeper - Giorgi Mamardashvili - and then loaning him out.

Was talking to a Liverpool fan this morning moaning they have repeatedly failed to sign a "number 6". I think he means a deep lying midfielder as the likes of Caceido have been approached. Seems to me that they are targeting the wrong sort of player. No chance someone like that on a massive money contract will want a move.
