Slade is turning into one of our worst ever managers.

Played 7

Won 1
Drawn 1
Lost 5

Points 4

Time to show him his p45 next month. Clearly he is clueless.

Assisted by the dynamic duo... I'm sorry but you could stick Cappello with White & Booker and he'd turn shit overnight, the coaching staff are the problem, they MUST GO.

7 games and 5 of them we could not give a shit. The buck stops with Slade and as it stands we would have been better off with Micky Adams.

He was 3rd choice anyway. What should we have expected?

Memo to Club secretary:
Expect another receipt for x2 Olympic Breakfasts, pot of tea, extra toast and tin of travel sweets from Little Chef, Hickstead...

US - you usually talk good sense but you have been desperate for Slade to fail since the second he arrived. Give the guy some time- we were as good as down before he started.

The buck stops with Adams and Knight- and some of the senior pros.

What's Slade done to you, nicked your panini stickers when you were 12 or something?

Brightons squad is full of loan players who dont give a damn (most of which blatantly couldnt get into their own side), managed by DKs third choice, a temporary manager (not confident enough to give him a longer contract), players signed by MA have lost their mate(jobs for the boys... Virgo has never held down a starting place since he left us for Celtic and 'needed a cuddle' according to MA. Mcleod..brilliant in preseason! Colin Hawkins from Coventry, and that waste of space, who plays for T&T). Add to that the most unbelievable injury list i can remember, to our best players and that is one recipe for an utter disaster.
If I were Slade now i would fill the side with those players who want to die for the club, those that want to be here next season and will bust a gut to make sure we stay in this league.
Kuipers, Whing, Elphick, Virgo (heart is here) Mayo,
Cox, Fraser, El Abd, Loft, Hart, Robinson. Id give the subs to the best homegrown players we have.

I think Slade is doing his best with the dross we have in this squad. I truly believe he would do a great job given a decent budget and a full season to do it in. But I cant understand why he was given the job temporarily.

You are nearly 50 years old right? And what have you learned in that time, to me it seems f*** all. How the hell can you blame Slade for our predicament? You truly are a clueless tosser. And I take it you went today and all those other 6 Slade games to have such a damning opinion, right?

I actually have to agree with US on this one. I don't think Slade is a bad manager, and in fact think we should act now to appoint him for next year and start building but...

...We are worse now than under Adams. Whilst there were some shockers, we never rolled over and died quite like Scunthorpe & today - we at least showed a little fight and I generally walked away feeling a little hard done by on most occasions.

Perhaps if Slade could have come in earlier and brought his own players in things might be different. You cant get blood out of a stone.....or in our case you cant make decent footballers out of the lazy clueless signings the previous manager and then the coach/chairman brought in.we will never know though.
