Might be fixtures etc but the video on SW with Slade is very interesting. He has a long list of things to get done. Obviously the retained list is one, replacing Malcolm S and pre-season fixtures. also talked about Booker & White saying there will be a role of both but does not specify. Could be wrong but gives me impression that he might bring in a new number 2 and give them new roles. One thing is for sure big changes will happen it seems:thumbsup:

That is exactly what I read into it. In fact I came on here with the intention of starting a thread on the subject but it seems you beat me to it!

That fact that he said they "have been very supportive" and "clearly there will be roles for both of them" suggests to me that he is looking to bring his own number 2 to the club. To be honest I think he should be able to do that if he wants.

Also sounds like he has plans to bring a fair few new players to the club, and there may be some exciting pre-season friendlies lined up. I'm excited for next season already!

I think when Slade said there were roles for the dynamic duo he actually meant there were rolls for Dean White & Bob Booker , toilet rolls , when they become cleaning staff at Withdean.:)

Vankleek Hill, actually....
I can't watch that video even though I'm a Seagulls World subscriber. The video is copyright protected by Microsoft DRM (Digital Rights Management) software which means it can only be played on Windows XP/Vista using Windows Media Player. I can't play the content on my Mac, or even on Linux if I wanted to.

Premium TV are are a bunch of f***ing wankers.

He speaks really well. seems really up for the challenge and unlike MA has BAGS of enthusiasm about EVERYTHING.

Looks like an exciting period ahead..... Also good to see players such as Dicker saying what a top man he is (argus) and how he wants to sign..

Two points.

If people weren't uploading PremiumTV content to YouTube, the league probably wouldn't have put them in a position to do that.

If Apple weren't so protective of their own DRM solution and who gets to use it, then companies like PremiumTV could probably employ that as well.

About your first point, given that Windows occupies 90% of the market and Mac OS X has the remaining 10% or thereabouts, I would say that the majority of these people putting stuff on YouTube are Windows based users.
So why punish Mac users who are far less in numbers?

I'm paying money to Seagulls World for audio commentary and premium content, therefore I would expect to be able to access that content without any restrictions. I've searched the website, and I cannot find any information that says the content is restricted to Windows users only. It would be nice to get a big notice when signing up that tells you this, but alas, screwing the consumer is the norm nowadays.
