What a shrewd bit of business to get our magnificent stadium so cheap in the first place, when now comparing it to one players contract.
I'm not surprised that Crystal Palace are following our example, by investing in stadium improvements.

I wonder how long Man United can put off redeveloping Old Trafford. It's beginning to look very old and limited.
The Glazers just want to squeeze income out of their franchise.

It's a fascinating challenge for them. Liverpool's new stand is excellent. Got to be the way to go.

It's a bit of an elephant in the room with football stadiums - what do you do with the ones that are big enough but a bit tired?

I’ve heard old Trafford is in a real bad state, no refurbishment been done in years, the roof leaks in places as Glazier sweat the assets. I also read that St Andrew’s may get two stands condemned as not safe by Birmingham city council - again owners not spending money
