If we're still mathematically in the play off mix then I'll probably take a half day and drive down, or arrange work so that I'm down south that Friday anyway.

(psst - it's affect)

None of the above. I would have gone either way but prefer Friday night games.

Where's the option for cannot make it OR watch (all) of it on TV? I will be travelling back from Bristol by train. The earliest I could possibly leave is 4.30 and I will have three days worth of suits and a laptop with me.

On the bright side that's three days for the rest of you without me on NSC.

None of the above. It's my lad's 4th birthday so the plan was a dash straight from the Amex to London, a hotel for the night and then the zoo or the Natural History Museum - whatever he decides - and then back home Sunday evening.

So, if anything, the fixture makes my weekend easier - as we can have 2 days in London and maybe do both of his favourite places.

I still don't think it's right though - the last home game of the season should be about milling around outside a pub in the sun with mates, enjoying the sauna of the WSU concourse, a decent away contingent (fancy dress optional), taking time after the game to appalled the players and back into town for more tomfoolery. As it is, it will be a horrible transport-related rush for all concerned, little time for socialising, 27 away fans and the Amex being nearly empty if there is any sort of post-match acknowledgement.

I agree with others, possibly on the other thread, that the club should consider another way of acknowledging the players as post-match on an evening game is not the time to do it.
