Gomis will get swallowed up in that league. Prince will go on to play in the premiership though.

Championship for them next year. Meh. Arabest to them, would prefer to see them stay together. At least Gus Poyet likes to play nice football.

Should they go, they'll be solely missed. Two of my favourite players in my time watching United.

Would be a good move for them as Brighton look a setup for the future.... also a good move for them keeping them both together

was planning on going to see a Brighton game at the start of next season, got a mate down there and wanted to see their new stadium. Would be cool to see Jimmy and Boab if I do. Might even see big Sandaza sitting in the stand too if I'm lucky.

From their forum..................

Morgaro Gomis
'Jimmy' is a diminutive midfielder, arriving at Utd from Cowdenbeath.
He went on to become one of the best midfielder's in the league over the past few seasons, although this season he has found himself no longer automatic first pick due to a loss of form and the return from injury of Scott Robertson.
Out of contract at the end of the season, it looks likely Jimmy will move onto pasture new, he will fondly be remembered by his outstanding displays against both sets of the Old Firm and recently scored a cracker against Celtic.
Played in all six of Utd Scottish Cup ties, one of only 5 players to doso.

Prince Bauben
'The Fresh Prince' arrived at Utd having been released from Ajax, a rugged central midfielder by trade, he fitted seamlessly into the Utd midfield, and was almost an ever present last season, missing only 4 of the 47 games the club played.
Recently adopted the name of 'C. Bauben' on the back of his shirt as a tribute to his late father, he also buried his Scottish Cup medal at his father's grave as a tribute to him.
Prince is one half of a centre midfield partnership, preferring to attack more than defend and currently has eight goals to him name.

The Prince sounds exactly what we need to mix it in midfield and help to hold the ball a little better while Gomis sounds like the makeweight in a Baz/Battipiedi package designed to help the better player settle. Both would be free transfers (possible copensation for Bauben based on age assuming he has been offered a contract by Dundee Utd)).

Begs the question whether some of our existing crop will remain............

Does our chief scout pretend to watch games all over the country while never actually moving from a Travelodge in Dundee?
