Is it still there? What number?

just tried to access it on its old channel and it isnt there, LB said it was on SS1 but cant get that channel.

Virgin is a massive rip off imo, get less channels than top up TV. we have the £30 pack with phone and broadband (which we can get free from talk talk) will be cancelling subscription soon :clap2:

Do you use the On demand thing?. That has now become the best feature on Virgin in my opinion - watch that more than normal telly.

Top Up TV is gone, and it -never- had more channels than cable.

At the foot of the downs
""

Virgin Media have announced that they are in talks with content providers, to replace the content that was shown on some of Sky’s basic channels. Sky withdrew some of their channels in March this year.

Virgin Media’s Chief Operating Officer, Neil Berkett, has recently announced in Broadcast magazine that Virgin Media are in talks with content providers, to provide new channels to replace those removed by Sky. The main focus is going to be replacing the news and sports channels.

This comes as last March, Sky removed Sky One, Sky Two, Sky Three, Sky News, Sky Sports News, and Sky Travel from the Virgin Media platform following an acrimonious negotiation to agree a broadcasting fee. This has now been referred to the courts and OfCom.""

I have heard that a new Eurosport news channel will be coming to Vrigin, it will be very similar to SkySports News, just not a complete rip off for Virgin Media and its customers.

For £85?

I seem to recall a few on here were saying that they got a big reduction from £85-I couldn't find the thread....

I'm getting the second box free and have NASN, Setanta and thet tell me that's the best I'll get. Bet they're lying:p

We pay £13.71 for 10meg broadband and £11.07 for calls (free to landlines and reduced international rates at all times) to Virgin, it used to be £26.99 but has now been reduced to £24.78 for some reason. We no longer have any pay TV services but were paying £39.99 (I think, maybe £36) to them for the top package with setanta and bb and phone.

You need to call them and tell them you want the Loyalty Packs on your account they have them for BB/Phone, BB/TV, TV/Phone and various other combinations.

You never got Living or MTV on TUTV. You got them on OnDigital. which ended in 2001!!
