I ordered Sky Sports for the Brighton game a few months back. I thought I may as well keep it, and to be honest with you every single Premiership game I have watched so far has been boring, as boring as seria A. I will be cancelling it next week.

I just cant get excited with football anymore, I dont know if this is becuase Brighton are not doing well, or we just get too much football generally, in the newspapers, internet and TV.

Has anyone else lost the buzz?

I must admit I too have Sky Sports, but watch very little football on it, and prefer to watch the Albion live. I do however enjoy some of the other sports coverage Sky have.

Since i subscribed in 1992, this seasons has undoubtedly served up the worst choice of games ever on Sky Sports.. and the good games have been frankly boring

I am going to cancel mine. I never watch Prem games really and only have it for other sports and the lower league matches. This shite idea about a 39th game has sealed it for me. I just do not want to hear/see anything about it if/when it arrises.

I thought there was something wrong with me. Glad I am not alone. I got Setanta too when they offered it for £1, but watched one game and the signal is shiite.

Andy Gray has become an arse now too and Soccer AM is rubbish, so no reason to keep it.

Please let this be the beginning of the end for the money-grabbing premier-shite.

Agree about the premiership, but for me skysports is well worth the investment for NFL, Heineken and Premiership rugby, some cricket, some champions league, plus internationals. If you watch one match at the pub a month then theres your money back.

I keep meaning to cancel it, but never actually get around to making the call. I ordered it to watch Sussex at Lords and never switched it back off. I rarely watch any significant amount of football on it, and if it is a "big" game, I tend to watch it down the pub with my mates anyway.

Can you imagine millions of Chinkys forking out a months wages to watch Chelsea v Liverpool live and then get served up with the crap we saw yesterday ?

They were seriously taking the piss along those lines on MOTD2 last night.

Sky Sports is not worth the money if you've only got it for the football.

However, if you like a smattering of other sports then I suppose you do have your Heineken Cup rugby, England 6 nations matches, Superleague, test match cricket, domestic cricket, darts, Ryder Cup golf etc.

It's still overpriced however, and I can't wait for Sky to be provided some real competition.

I cancelled it for a bit and the thing I really missed was the Cricket, which suprised me as I never realised how much of it I watched until it was gone.

I cancelled my Sky Sports subscription at the end of last season - got fed up with hearing about how much money the players were getting, their behaviour on and off the pitch and the general lack of interest those in the premiership seemed to have towards the rest of the football structure. I decided that the money coming into the game from TV was largely to blame and I was going to my little bit to stop to try and stop it. Also I found that I was staying in to watch games in which I had no interest and at the end of them often thought that it was 2 hours of my life I’d never get back. I can honestly say that I don’t miss it. Hopefully with all this 39th game nonsense a few more people will do the same.

Sky sports is brilliant , on a hungover Sunday you have Sunday supplement , goals on Sunday , x2 games , non stop chewing it over followed by more chewing it over in the Final word.
If I'm feeling like death then what better way to waste a day ? antiques roadshow , heartbeat ?

I have setanta but hardly ever watch it except for the odd conference game. It will be interesting to see if at the start of next season I will have to pay for it. Currently get it free with virgins large package.

I'll agree with you on Sunday Supplement. Much better than listening to ex-players talk about the game, but I can take or leave the rest. There is always the radio for the round up stuff anyway.
