Cancelled my subscription nearly 4 weeks ago due to shit service. They had already taken my Direct Debit up to 16 Nov so I was forced to swallow this cost.

I guessed the thieving bastards would be dipping into my bank account again so I cancelled the DD.

Now they write to me wondering why my DD didn't work and demanding £4.35 outstanding balance and a further £4 per month for every month it goes unpaid.

Well they can stick the bill up their communal arses:salute: :salute:

I am sending them a counter bill for for £40 non supply of service and £5 for every month they don't pay.

See you in Court

Go for it, seems they're going for the annual 'NTL Award for Piss Poor Service'.

Did you ever try to communicate with them.

Telephone:

Typically 45 minute wait for each call at 0870 rate.

They will never ring back.

E mails:

Are not answered most of the time except by an automatic computer. When they do get through you get a new person each time who knows f*** all about what has gone before. I have dealt with 6 different morons.

Like I said SKY are SHIT

So which one would that be? You must be the only person in the UK to get customer support on an 0800 number

Very true. I've done customer service courses & complaints courses quite frequently in the past 3 months and every time NTL are brought up on numerous occasions.

All the training material here is from the UK and mentions "a large cable company, not named for legal reasons" in its scenarios :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

If its dropping out its a dish alignment issue, or the dish is too small. Phone up Sky, threaten to cancel and it'll be fixed. Or you can pay an independent to do it without the aggro of arguing with an Indian or sweaty about it :p

You can say that again...

I had Sky for 6 months, one day I got a letter "we're sorry you're leaving". I call them and I said that I do not want to cancel, done. A few weeks later I get another letter and I ring them again. They said it's ok now and then advised me to complain to Ofcom as someone is trying to take over my line, done that and after 2 weeks NO more Sky. I call them and explained the situation and they said there is nothing they can do as I got slammed. I have told them that wasn't suppose to happen if they would've done the job properly when I called them seccond time to tell them I do not want to switch. They were very rude and seemed to me like they didn't care that I was their client. Since the line was active in my room I have called the Sex Hotline so he can enjoy my f?ckin' line now. If I was the Sky manager I would have sacked the idiot who didn't do his job by not allowing the line to be taken. They have lost a client, half of the contract and a router. Now they lost some of the reputation.

I had to ring them to try and get my mums box fixed. Mum is 79 and stone deaf; she has a warranty on her box so it was just a call to arrange the fitter to come out. Or so I thought.
Took about 7 calls, two spoofed emails and a text pretending to be her before they would authorise s fitter to come out.
Bunch of muppets.

There is no need for a warranty after the box is 12 months old. The annual cost of the warranty more than covers replacing a faulty box when it can cost you nothing. They will want to charge £65 for a service callout charge but it will be waived if they believe you're going to cancel the subscription.

They do sound fairly shite HOWEVER I come here with a request, a plea if you will, I don't work for Sky but I have worked in a call centre and I ask that when you (finally) get through please remember that not everyone on phones is the prize plum people assume them to be, in fact, the majority actually want to help, they're likely constrained (and equally frustrated) by just how awful the company they work for is...

That is all, continue the Sky hating :)
