On that new sky ad promoting all the footy they've got on this season, there is a catchy song sung(mimed probably)by a guy looking like Elton John.I presume the song is by Elton but what is it called? Please help its stuck in my head and i cant get it out!"Are you ready, are you ready for love":(

He was paid £100k by Sky for it and gave the money to Watford's 'Buy back Vicarage Road' campaign

Yep, it's 'Are You Ready For Love?', as remixed by Ashley Beedle (of X-Press 2).

Massive in Ibiza. Going straight to No. 1 - sorry.

Oh, and it's on Southern Fried Records - Norman Cook's label.

PS The advert is bad, isn't it? That hair! :lolol:

Too right Cheshire... BBC ad wins hands down.

I'd have to say that Johnathan Pearce wins the showdown IMHO, his ryhmes are tight, his metaphors strong and he I hear he can do a mean beatbox too! Proper Bo

The 5 live advert is indeed superb, demonstrating the passion people have for football, whereas the Elton John ad is dismal, even the 40 gaimes for forty poinds Premiership Plus ad is better than that.

The BBC is the home of football. 10.30 Satdee night, Match of the Day, with Saint Gary Lineker. I can't wait for it to come back.

Bring back the early ‘90’s “alive and kicking” adverts.
