Right here, right now
Reebok have sponsored Bolton since 1990. JJB and Carlsberg have sponsored Wigan and Liverpool respectively since 1994.

Yeah, no one buys dance records anymore. And FBS is past his peak.

Erm, considering a friend of mine just got his quarterly royalty cheque from Discover Records, I think you'll find people do still buy dance music - quite heavily so at that. Legal downloads still count as sales...

Fatboy past his peak I won't disagree with.

Brighton and Hove Council?

Well why not, they're spunking our money on loads of shit projects, why not use some of this money for sponsoring the local club than, say, building an unwanted bicycle lane up The Drive in Hove.

The obvious one is Carlsberg and Liverpool since 1992.

According to the Argus...it's probably the longest running deal outside the Premiership.

I'd have thought that Eddie Stobart have been looking after Carlisle for a few years, while Tranmere have worn Wirral on their shirts for as long as I can remember: off the top of my head I think that's to do with their local council rather than a company as such, so not sure if it counts in the traditional sense.

Anyway, who cares, if Wind-Eze or Preparation H offered us five million quid for a couple of seasons sponsorship the club would bite their hands off. Never mind the ridicule, money talks.

Norman puts the money in, but uses Skint as the sponsor. He will still put the money in but he wont be part of th sponsorship.

Big Beach Boutique was a possible sponsor, but as that falls between the end of next season and the beginning of the next season, then it would be pointless as the clb would have to change the sponsorship again after just one year

It may be that this decision comes as much from the Albion as it does from Skint.

I can't imagine Skint were paying megabucks for the deal, therefore the Albion might now decide that with Falmer at last getting off the ground, and the team seemingly improving on the pitch, the club's profile will improve sufficiently in the next two years that they can get a better deal elsewhere.

I can see that that choice of sponsor may well become a crunch issue. Replacing iconic SKINT with the logo of some corporate dullards will obviously suit the albion financially in the run up to Falmer. But, hell, everybody LOVES having SKINT on their shirts, for all sorts of reasons, and there's all sorts of SKINT-variant shirts get worn to matches (me, I favour the PALOOKAVILLE variant)

Can see a situation arising where fans will be refused admission to Falmer (the club wouldn't DARE do it at Withdean) for not wearing the current sponsors shirts. Ugly, but there is a precedent, Dutch fans being refused admission (last world Cup?) for wearing the wrong trousers Gromit, they were being given away by a rival brewery to the official sponsors of the tournament. Seem to recall most of the Dutch fans opted for the option of watching the game in their y-fronts. Unmarvellous scenes, to be sure.
