At the top of the table, I for one never thought we would stay top for more than a week or two!!! 6 wins on the bounce, 4 consecutive clean sheets, we really are rather good this season

True Tricky, but in the last six weeks, Peterborough and Southampton have been in incredible form, but we have stepped up to another level and they still couldn't close the gap. We have done what we needed to all season. Stunning achievement, simply stunning.

It's six months today

I really did not expect us to stay top for any length of time, let alone six months!!!

It is and I am pretty sure our lead (10 points) has never been higher. I seem to remember an 8 point lead but never 10 (oh and we have games in hand over the 2nd place team too):albion1:

I think the earliest we can get knocked off the top is 16th April (us loosing every game, and Huddersfield winning their next 4)

If it is, that will be 204 consecutive days at the top of the league

Not forgetting the time when Bournemouth were due to play Bristol Rovers themselves with us not playing. Had they won, they'd have gone top (with Albion having 3 or 4 games in hand). Sadly for them, it was called off.

It's why I enjoy chuckling at the table when I see Bournemouth now, scrabbling to hold onto a play off spot and miles off the pace.

Since December although they went top in Oct, they slipped to 2nd a couple of times.
