Six a side dilemma

Advice required on a problem my six a side team are having at the moment.

Situation is that one of our players is not that great, and gets alot of strife off two other players gettin called titus bramble all the time and gettin 0 out of 10 in player ratings we do after every game. General piss take really.

The thing is he's a nice lad (abit quiet) and these other two are arrogant nobs, one of which is absolutely rubbish and has let in so many stupid goals this season. He's only in our team cause our original goalie got injured.

Their both just tryin to look funny in front of the rest of us at his expense and the rest of the team cant stand the goalie especially.

Its got to the stage now were he's quit the team and I dont know what to do being the one in charge of the team.

So over to u fellow NSCers
Ditch the goalie or get the lad to be abit less sensitive and have a quiet word wit the goalie and other piss taker????

Ditch the goalie. By the sounds of it he has no right to take the piss if he's shit too.

yeah i think it has got to the stage were sumthin needs to be said. I just find the situation so uncomprehendable were the keeper makes mistakes every week, basically lost us the league which ended last week(we finished 2nd). but still finds it acceptable to rip into some one else on a consistant basis.

Is banter all part of the footie experience tho and he needs to be a bit more of a man and give as good as he gets. He has enuf ammunition after some of the keepers displays and the other lads erratic shooting.

Thats the problem as I c it??

I've even told him the rest of us will laugh at what ever he says about them and were all on his side but it doesnt seem to be making any difference!!

How soon is now?
Basically your keeper is using attack as the best form of offence - attack somebody else to cover up his own shortcomings. Why don't you do the same to the keeper in defence of your nicer, albeit weaker mate..

As for the other one - not a lot you can probably do with him. Just don't sell him to a competitor and have him come back next season and scoer a shit load against you

I'd drop the two players who give the other one grief and find yourself some team mates with a good attitude, if that is possible. They sound like right dick heads. It's a social game and this should be about playing your best but also having fun, not being a prick who takes things too seriously with negativity. What is the point of playing sport if you do not enjoy it?

Sudden, unprovoked, savage extreme violence is generally the best solution I find. Don't wait for a piss-take, get a pre-emptive in. Something involving broken glass, or a heavy blunt-edged instrument.

Easy, your tact and diplomacy was sorely missed from the Irish Good Friday Agreement negotiations !

I think u have hit the nail on the head there pal.
so from now on i will remind him of all his dodgy keepin this session and there has been alot, shots goin wide that he has deflected in, gettin megged and beatin from narrow angles as well as at his near post and just generally being an annoying stumpy little bellend.

No ones gettin dropped as i dont think i want the confrontation tho, whilst i will leave the door open for the quiet lad to come back wen eva he wants
:)
