Listened to The World at One today and understandably the situation is confusing as well as dangerous, however the two people speaking from Sudan certainly are not impressed with the actions of the British Embassy and the excuse for not taking names of person's trapped in the conflict via a third party to coordinate some sort of rescue arrangementseems incredible.

Our enormous army could help. Transported by our huge navy. And the abundance of RAF planes and pilots kicking their heels will probably be grateful for the action too. Good job it’s a stone’s throw away or this could be a tricky one to help out with.

This government has been useless over this sort of stuff as well as everything else. No surprises, sadly.

Was this the GDPR nonsense? I didn't hear the report but someone was talking about it at work today.

I said that, if true, it was completely true to form for this Government, and this country historically tbh. You've only got to look at how the Afghans that took our side in the oil war were treated when the shit hit the fan over there.

No surprises at all.
