I was suprised he came here TBH and it now appears that we were quite far down his list of preferences. Wonder if we'll cash in on him in January if a big bid comes in??

He is too good for this division.

How did SAF 'price him out of the Premier league'? I can understand him saying that when he was under contract, but I thought his contract had expired at Old Trafford? Consequently this summer he was free to play for whomsoever he wanted?

He was referring to when he had a year left on his contract.

Yeah, so he could have gone to another Premier League club in the summer instead of getting 'relegated' and having to slum it with us.

True, blame the headline for being a little misleading. He only said he was priced out last year, not when we got him. Staying in England was his priority with his family, so we were lucky in that respect.

Very unlikely. Wouldn't show much ambition from us would it? He said himself, he has had another child in England, so wants to say, says we are a team on the up and training ground on the way, and he likes the way we play football. Would take something a lot bigger for him to leave?

That was meant to be the ones that he didn't shake his hands with. I know he has got good links with the coaching staff there, especially the goalkeeping coach.

Isn't that Eric Steele, former Albion (& Peterborough) keeper?
