As a homer, tomorrow is my last game of the season. So is this adios from the Amex to "The King" or will we be saying ola again come August?

Whilst I would love him to stay, I have this horrible feeling he'll sign for the Reading roubles.

Whatever he wants to do is good enough for me. He's been magic in our world of innocence of such things. Maybe Wardy and Bobby Zee but this is different. He's filled me with goosebumps, he's made me suck my breath in astonishment... this has never really happened to me, this man of Albion for coming on 62 seasons. Bless you Spanish Boy for bringing such joy to our club and may you finalise your career exactly as you think best. There will always be a big part of Sussex that belongs to you forever.

I have a gut feeling that he's staying.

Can't explain it, certainly have no 'source' or other such justification for it, just gut instinct.

If he starts, he is going. If he is on the bench, he is staying. You heard it here first

Not the real one
I am encouraged by the reasons he came here in the first place. I think that unless he feels he cannot take the team on any further that he will stay. He could be instrumental in teaching other players how to play and he himself can see that something special is building here at the Albion. If he just wants to play at the highest level again then fair enough, see you later Vicee, but if he still wants to be here for the same reasons he came in the summer, then I think he will stay on.

you would think he'd certainly have offers (Reading, perhaps). Echo the statements about his brilliance (THAT one off the bar!) and good luck to him whatever he decides. Could easily play in the prem I reckon. The one hope I have is that he may stay to continue progression (having played very few games despite the recent run in the team) from injury, also remember Poyet saying he will wait and see who we add to the squad, have noticed in recent weeks some frustrated looks at ineptness of other teammates!

That is lovely and sums things up for me to a tee. Given he turned down big money to sign for us in the first place, I've got a feeling he'll stay. But If he goes, it's been a real pleasure and his goal at portman road will
Live long in my memory

I have a feeling the club/the argus holding back the news from the press conference this week is a sign he's staying. And we're signing Zamora. And Raul.
