Does anyone know what the news is on his fitness?
We know that Blackwell is crocked .... but we could really do with Rodger being back in midfield.
Anyone with any inside knowledge?

According to the Argus, he is going to give it two months and if he hasn't made it back he is going into early retirement. No way he will be back for the start of the season, unfortunately :(

That's sad news ... in two months it will be nearly a whole year that he has been out .... we need a couple of decent midfielders urgently

Just read it ... very sad ... shame too that he didn't sign for us a couple of years sooner

Am I the only one that thought that Simon Rodger didn't look particularly impressive in the few games that he played for us last season? Even if he recovers from his serious injury, I'm not sure that he will necessarily be the answer to our midfield prayers.

I think the last game I saw him in before Middlesboro was the away game at Barnsley when he was also crocked midway through the match (a dead leg I seem to remember)

Terrible news and a great shame for Rogers.

That is sounding bad. Got to start expecting the worst now, and perhaps assume we will not see Blackwell or Jolly playing again.

:(
