Simon Jordan being asked to advise on anything to do with money is comical. However, to disregard what he said just because of that is a bit of an ad hominem, since I make him right in what he says on there.

Some Palace fans hate him, some just merely dislike him now that the extent of his severe mismanagement of our club has come to light. The only thing ever said in his defence is usually "he did his best". Which is true, because his best was still utter shit.

People hated his predecessor, Goldberg for making such a mess of finances and yet both were lauded as saviours when they arrived. However Stanley and Archer are now hated here for the same reasons. Some here have no time for Dick Knight (which astonishing a lot of others) but I do wonder how Tony Bloom and CPFC2010 will be viewed in four years time.

Well i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say I quite like Tangoman.

Quite simply, the bloke says it how it is and doesn't pussyfoot around being afraid to upset anyone.

Yes he sometimes talks some shite but a lot of what he says is exactly what people think

I always thought that him having to have a word about everything was annoying, and wish he'd go away now he's completely failed in football. However, he did say what alot of people were thinking. He realised this in about 2004, and suddenly he started seeing himsef as a spokesperson for football fans, which I reckon in part is where the huge ego came from. Stuff like his rants about football in general were good though. The problem with football agents was something that needed addressing, and he was the only person who had the guts to bring it up.

Archer is one of the wealthiest businessmen in Britain, if he was to try the same dirty trick with another club, whos owners are desperate enough to let him in, what can the league actually do financially to stop him raping that club too?

Transparent accounts. Limited borrowing. Spotchecks on account irregularities. Proper "fit and proper persons" regulation prior to director/ownership, unlike the farce it is at the moment which let that Thai criminal take over Man City.

I'd prefer a complete overhaul of the way football in this country works, doing away with the unfair Sky/Premier League stuff, but I can't see that happening any time soon.
