Rightly overturned but not according to Dyche
God that man is tiring to listen to.

His team did enough in the first 15 minutes to suggest that he deserves to be given more time, but if I had to watch those hoof ball tactics week in week out then it would be less a question of me leaving early and more a question of my finding something better to do with my time. I feel for toffee fans.

Absolutely agree, I just wouldn’t pay to watch that. A constant long ball to the winger. No imagination, reliant on not conceding 1st and grabbing a goal from a set piece 😴

To be fair to Hooper, he overturned the decision himself, not the VAR. The VAR merely invited him to have a second look, on the monitor in slow motion.
Pretty much how VAR should have worked from the outset.
Nothing showed on the VAR monitor though did it 😂

When I was watching on MOTD last night, as the shot of him at the VAR screen finished I glanced down and underneath it looked like a sort of large black laptop thingie which might have been the spare screen. Was too fleeting a glimpse of it though for me to be sure, and was watching on the telly in the bedroom which I can't rewind live TV on.

I used to play for a church team in Lewes. We all enjoyed ourselves and occasionally did something that was pretty skilful. Emphasis on occasionally, we were industrial, almost agricultural. Low quality, boorish football from the stone age with little imagination or guile. Hang on I seem to have gone off track, was I talking about Everton?
