The Great Cornholio

After a month of searching, I finally tracked down to copy of Wembley I bought from EBay. (Turned up at No 18 rather than 19 - nowhere near next door though) So now is the time to put it to the test.
For those of you that haven't seen it before, it is a classic board game that was popular from the 50's through to the 80's. It basically simulates the FA Cup.
Although there are more advanced rules, I will start with simple ones. A maximum of 16 players can sign up. There are 32 teams in the game which will be randomly assigned. You start with money and gain more money for gate receipts. This money can be spent on "International Stars" which mean an added goal. Results are decided by dice which are graded as to the teams division and whether they are home or away.
I will explain the rules fully before we start. The game will run for a few days so you really need to be around on here every day. (There will be long gaps between rounds so you don't need to be on here all day - just once a day) I'm away on business from Thursday to Sunday so there will be a hiatus then if the game is still going.
If this game is successful, I might try the more advanced version which involves auctioning teams.
So, sign up here if you want in. Remember, a maximum of 16 players.
