I cancelled my subscription at the start of last season after the fans forum cock up - havent missed it at all - to be honset you can see all the goals in many places from links on here, although I can understand it is the only link for out of the area fans for the commentary

Surely it would be better for the club to agree a deal with BBC and get the commentary from the SCR web site

Well its not bad in some respects, interviews etc. I don't listen to the commentary but if they are failing to give that that is really poor as I know most people pay their money for that alone.

Not as simple as that unfortunately. The club can't do a deal with the BBC as such, because the BBC havent got the rights to broadcast them anywhere else but locally.

It's essentially a case of the league allowing the BBC to do commentary on the basis that the league effectively own it and can resell it.

I understand that BBC don't even own the rights to the commentary.

The BBC don't make a penny from the commentary either.

However, it's shocking service and they need a kick up the arse. Any more problems and I'll be writing to the football league.

Time for PTV to shape up or ship out.

I haven't renewed and I will never pay for the service as it is always poor. Now they've managed to alienate both Firefox users and Mac users there is no way that it will ever be used in my household.

The arrogance of that decision (without bothering to inform anyone) is remarkable.

Please please email customerservices@premiumtv.co.uk and say you are not prepared to put up with this crap service anymore.

I have written them a second email today. Please do the same until we get it thrught there heads that they need to provide a better service.

The only language they understand is when they start losing money.

Must confess to enjoying the buffoon of a Bradford commentator choking at the winning goal on saturday. Did we not have the ball at all because apart from when we scored or had a thrown in/corner/goal kick I can't recall him commentating on our build up play at all. Only heard him commenting as the ball hit the net or moaning about the penaly being given.

If Seagull's world had been working properly I would not have heard the despair and sour grapes from this class a tosser :clap2:

Does make me realise just how good Hawsey is though.

I've given up with it. The 'highlights' were always laughable.

'Its a Brighton player, through ball, goal!' No-one even bothered to find out the names of the players and half the time I'm not sure they actually knew which teams were on the pitch. Amateur.

The only thing I miss is the Commentary (as an Exile) but not enough for me to put up £40 and according to this it does not work anyway. And don't get me started about not being able to use firefox anymore....

At the end of the day PTV must be able to get through to the producer to tell them.

Read Insiders reply, apparently they did and it was rectified for the 2nd half!! We must have missed it!

Subject: Service provision to Brighton & Hove Albion supporters

Dear Sirs,

Despite assurances to the contrary, once again paying subscribers to your Brighton service once again had no commentary for the second consecutive fixture.

I re-iterate the key word there "paying". I pay PremiumTV for the provision of this service.

As a paying customer I would like a full explanation as to how this happened for a second time within such a short period of time. Could you please detail the steps taken to attempt to ensure a service was provided on Saturday and how these measures seemed to have failed so dismally. Please note, that you are my service provider and that the BBC, picking an organisation at random, are not. If they are a supplier to you in the provision of your service to me, I expect you to ensure that they fulfill your requirements of them. I do not expect you to use them as a scapegoat.

I know of a large number of your customers who, simply, have had enough and are on the verge of cancelling their subscriptions to your service and, sadly, I am amongst them.

I look forward to your earliest response.

Don't blame you, the buffoon was very unkind about Guy, but who had the last laugh :clap2:
