Not even the most loyal of Arsenal fans really like the fact that they play hardly any English Players.

no i do agree. and i actually never thought jeffers was that bad when he played.

i mean i saw him play in 4 carling cup games against premiership teams and he scored 6 goals in those games. and played well.

so i was always a bit miffed he didnt get more of a run out

bently now is fantastic. but he has progressed due to games. sadly at the beggining of this development he wasnt really good enough for the arsenal team.

its just a sad fact that english players are FAR more expensive than foreign players. and luckily for us/bad for others, wenger is the best at finding young foreign talent for pennies...literally.

I find myself agreeing with you, Charlton want 15 million for Bent, 15 MILLION! thats stupid money considering Berbs was 11, Van Persie was 11.4? Mccarthy 3.
Also the 10 million that Soton want for Bale could buy you two internationals from Europe.
You really cant blame clubs looking abroad.

I agree. Still kind of like the Spurs method of taking a punt on lower league talent. Doesn't cost much and you can end up with a Dawson or a Lennon.
