Will be interesting to see if he's good enough to hold down anymore than a bit part at Chelsea. Still shocked he didn't show a bit more loyalty to SC and Reading and sign a new contract with a let out clause for a big bucks salary. They could have at least recouped something. Can you imagine the furore on NSC if he'd signed for us instead of Reading (yeah I know  ) and we'd just let his contract run down (again unlikely as we would have sold him to the 1st decent bidder years ago)

Not sure Duff was a miserable failure.

Think Duff was fed up with sitting on the bench

He left because he wasn't assured of a first team place which is different to being a failure.

Anyway Chelsea play with about 14 central midfielders so he should be fine.

Duff did well for Chelsea, this is very much to cover the midfield during the African Cup I would think.

spot on kinky, they must be losing Essien and Mikel to that.

Among others, I can see them signing a lot of average players this summer so the same thing doesnt happen to them that did this year.

Shev wont be there I dont think, Its a shame because I think he could be ok next season, Crespo should leave - I believe he signed a new deal last year?

Start of Reading downfall?

As Jewell says second season is always alot harder, bit like a bands second album. I reckon they will struggle next season

If he has any sense he'll go to Newcastle. He'll still earn a packet but actually play.

Look at how SWP#s career is wasting away.

SWP has played in 43 Chelsea games this season, starting 18.
