Should be put down. He has been caught but what about the seriously sick bastards who watched his videos? How can people get a kick out of abusing dogs in this way? Makes you shake your head in disbelief.

I have no idea what an appropriate punishment should be for such cruelty; how can you rehabilitate a person who perpetrates such crimes? I suppose a long custodial sentence and drastic re-education is the best option. It is superficially attractive but lazy thinking to suggest executing such a person. But it is clear some (mercifully few) people can still shock us with unspeakably disgusting behaviour. Ironically on this scale it is abhorrent, whereas a massive scale of inhumanity (as in the case of Putin for example), seems beyond even disgust.......

Sadly in this country the worst punishment it seems he can receive is 5 years & a ban for keeping dogs. In Northern Territory in Aus it is only 1 year for animal cruelty but probably the child porn can have him put away for longer.
