Should we be trying to sign a 1st choice left back

just in case McNulty either doesn't recover completely or takes another year to do so?

I think, given the problems we've had with this position for about 3 years we probably should try and sign a quality LB who will pretty well be guaranteed being 1st choice for a few months and then, God willing, let the pair of them fight for the position when/if McNulty makes a full recovery. This, of course, should be made clear to the new LB BEFORE we sign him imo.

Or should we just hope that McNulty will be back soon and get a loanee? I know it's a bit un pc to suggest this could be a career threatening injury but....

Michael Rose.

Was he that baldish LB Stockport had in the last game? If so I have to say I know why Gannon let McNulty go, I thought he was probably the best player on the pitch that day

Rose wasn't bad, but please consider he had so much space in front of him, as we played effectively 4 central midfielders. We then spread out a bit more and he fell out of the game..

Slade should bring in Danny Jackman very versatile more so then Rose as he can play on both sides of the park.

has another year on his contract and their player of the season 2 years running so can't see Stuart Gray letting him go.

Michael Rose wouldn't want to go to Brighton, he's played second fiddle to McNulty before and was quite unsettled at the time. He only started playing again when McNulty left.

BTW you must have caught him on a good day, he's good, but nowhere near as good as McNulty.

Matt Richards

Matt Richards has been released today by ipswich roy keane is having a clear out would be a good signing as he could also cover wide left midfield if needed
