just in case McNulty either doesn't recover completely or takes another year to do so?
I think, given the problems we've had with this position for about 3 years we probably should try and sign a quality LB who will pretty well be guaranteed being 1st choice for a few months and then, God willing, let the pair of them fight for the position when/if McNulty makes a full recovery. This, of course, should be made clear to the new LB BEFORE we sign him imo.
Or should we just hope that McNulty will be back soon and get a loanee? I know it's a bit un pc to suggest this could be a career threatening injury but....
