Tell you after tonight if he comes through without having to leave the ground at half time.

No he shouldn't - his mind isn't 100% focused on football and we need are players to be 100% focused if we are going to have any sort of chance.

Np because he would be 5th or even 6th choice at centre back now.
Terry
Rio
King
Carragher will go and then you have got Anton and Dawson who are better than the great big jessy anyway.

i will decide after tonight.

though i used to worship him, watching the west ham arsenal game was painful(not only the result) but seeing zamora so easily outmuscle him.

In London village.
NJo, he'd probably change sides half way through the competition.

Is that because he has not made his mind up about which side he bats for *Allegedly*:safeway2: :safeway2:

He played well tonight & prefer him to Rio. Would play King in front of the back four. Think he will go.

He wasn't tested tonight but I still wouldn't take him. He is lucky that he had the imperious Toure alongside him to cover his ass.

I thought he was a liability tonight, slow to the ball, if he ever got there, out of position and the defence looked weaker as a result.

If he goes it will not because he is a player in form!

But he hasn't played for ages now. He needs games, but is a big-match player & seems to always do the business for England. I'm not sure there are many centre-backs ahead of him. Rio & Terry will go, but King is injured & may not make it. Who else is there? If Rio and/or Terry get injured I would still play Sol ahead of Carragher and ..... well there is no one else is there?

Arsenal, as team were shite and pretty lucky, so unfair to judge him when all around him were under par as well.

This season his confidence is low, his distribution poor. World class forwards will sniff weakness and exploit it shamelessly.

If we want to win the World Cup we cannot be taking unnecessary risks by playing him. We are already taking necessary risks by taking Crouch and (probably) Darren Bent.
