Hardly controversial is it, surely everyone except the most extreme right wing think this is reasonable.
To be able to pay rent, of course.
I believe there is something called Universal credit , no idea how it works as I have never had to make a claim but I am pretty sure that it can be used to pay rent and other living costs

One of this countries biggest challenges in the next 10 years is getting the White Underclass out of the benefits system and into work.
Harder than a lot of people think, as the Underclass are entrenched in doing Sweet FA and getting handouts.
