Time for a bit of spam of my own! I've just managed to get my company to pay for a second Open University course next year which will take me up to 90 points - 120 points is the equivalent of full time study! This will mean a curtailment of my 'legendary in my own lunchtime" games which will forever be associated with "The Great Cornholio"

As many of my 3500+ posts have been game related, I feel it may be time for a change to reflect my more peripheral role. So, simple question - should I change? And if so, what to.

I quite fancy continuing the cartoon theme. I particularly fancy "I Am Weasel!" or "Comic Book Guy". Maybe "Buttmunch" to keep the B&B theme going. Or maybe something surreal like "Adam Virgo's toothpick" Other (cleanish) suggestions will be considered.

and I do hope that if this wins in the poll it is what he changes his user name to.

Will give all of us a good idea of what we think of the post inside.

I was doing that befoire I started working in London

T102 Technology A Foundation Course ( I know all about Combined Power and Heat Power Stations)

60 Points Good Pass

t2xx Communicating Technology

60 Points Good Pass

Trouble is I had to give it up as i have no time to study, what with working in London. I thought I could work on the train but I just can't.

May still take something else...Squiggsy lent me his Music Course...that is very good level 2 course (60 points)

I've already done a 30 point course which was very easy for someone with 15 years IT experience. I'm a bit worried I'm bitten off more I can chew but I'm determined to get as much out of them before I'm outsourced. I've also signed up for a 10 point short course on The Planets which should be interesting.

Anyway, I'll draw a veil over this thread. It was an interesting if ultimately doomed experiment. Just thought I'd see what would happen if someone who wasn't a kid started a blatantly self promoting thread. I thought the words "Time for a bit of spam of my own" would have given the game away, irony wise.

Still, it made a few people show their true colours and has inadvertantly provided a new username. :lolol:
