Hearing about the Lib dems more lenient approach to Cannabis, do you want to see this drugs avaliable in a legal way?
My opinion on it is Cannabis can be a very harmful drug if it's used in the wrong way and with current laws it seems the common way for most people to use the drug is to stay indoors away from everyone whilst getting high, this is where it gets dangerous just like drink. When any drug pulls you away from society, thats when it becomes harmful.
If we did legalise Cannabis we would be opening up a social centre for alot of like-minded people stuck on their own thanks to the restictions on their enjoyments which realistically is no more dangerous than Alcohol. Legalisation would prevent alot of isolation, depression and criminal records for non-crimals. It would give the typical cliched stoner a reason to go out and look smart, a reason to get a job, a reason to smoke the stuff.
The stories of teenagers running riot at home on the stuff would all be related to being in the wrong place with the wrong stuff. Cannabis needs to be shared for it to be safe, it's a social drug if kept social. I personally think it's time to test it out and see what effect it'll have on society. In Amsterdam it seems very well controlled. Much better atmosphere in the cafes than in the bars. I myself stopped smoking the stuff a few years back now because I can't risk getting caught with the stuff but if it became legal i'd be very excited by the prospects of a community of chilled out people coming together without needing to guzzel 9 pints to boost ones confidence.

YES!

It's f***ing ridiculous that decent, ordinary people have to line the pockets of criminals, whilst getting ripped off with undersized weights of poorly grown cannabis.

IMO it should be legal to grow for your personal use buy applyng for a licence from the home office.

F1 hybrid's should be banned though and no cannabis should have a higher thc percentage than 10%.

No. We should remain a tough stance on drugs.

legalised or decrimialised? the latter certianly, not so sure about the former. eitherway, with sensible regulation and control its alot safer than other things, and by that i dont mean just alcohol.

all drugs should be available to addicts on the nhs it would probably work out cheaper than them being illegal and would reduce the amount of drugs in society as dealers would have no business.

Ive smoked grass since 1979 on a daily basis, that includes living in Holland for quite a few years. Here I can carry 15 grams of weed without prosecution.
Legalise it. Its virtually legal here in CZ... more smoke here than anywhere else in Europe....and life here, as in Holland goes on as normal...

Yes. I am a good law-abiding citizen at all times, except when I smoke weed. And I don't think thats fair, that enjoying a friendly, social spliff makes me a criminal.

spot on

the looks of horror and shame that some of my friends bestow upon me when they see me light up a joint make it seem like ive raped someone. it doesnt do any harm, and to be quite honest i see alcohol as a far worse substance
