Shoddy TV coverage of Poyet's appointment

Did anyone see Meridian Tonight's coverage of the appointment of Gus?

They showed artistically saturated footage of Dennis Wise and Gus at the Swindon Town press conference with shots of a camera man whilst just saying a few words that he had taken over at Brighton.

Sky Sports news however have an interview with Gus on the seafront.
There's something wrong here when a local TV station don't bother to make an effort, yet a national news station which covers all sports manage to dedicate a few minutes to showing an interview with a new league 1 manager.

BBC South Today did much better, they had interviews with Gus and Tony, along with a Poyet 'fact file'.

Agreed, the Meridian 'report' was a JOKE. There was literally NO coverage from today.

South Today had interviews with Poyet, Bloom, for some reason Gary 'wish I was manager of Brighton' Stevens and even a couple of window lickers in the club shop.

Meridian has always been Hampshirecentric and the BBC much more even-handed and professional in it's coveraged of local sport, so it came as no surprise.
